Martin Mooney Named Head of School

Martin J. Mooney has been named Bridgton Academy’s 48th Head of School, completing a six-month, nationwide search to find the right candidate. Mooney will officially assume the position on July 1.

Matt Burgess has been named Interim Head Football Coach at Bridgton Academy.

BRIDGTON ACADEMY WINS COACHES VS. CANCER WINTER CLASSIC

Bridgton Academy basketball wins 8th annual Coaches vs Cancer Winter Classic. Over $1,000 was raised and will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Bridgton Academy Captures 1st Maine Prep Cup

Junior Hockey wins the 1st Annual Maine Prep Cup, with wins over Kents Hill School and Hebron Academy.

Football Banquet Wrap-up

The Bridgton Academy Football team held their annual banquet. Seven Wolverines were honored for their outstanding play and improvement this season.

Matt Nutley re-joins Bridgton Academy as the Head Lacrosse Coach, Admissions and College Counselor.

Matt Burgess ’88 – Interim Head Football Coach, Teacher

Matt Burgess ’88 named Interim Head Football Coach after 14 years as Assistant Coach. Coach Burgess is also a Master Trainer of Heads-Up Football teaching the importance of tackling safety.
