Binaca began her career at Bridgton Academy in 2012. Prior to her role as Dean of Academic and Student Life, Ms. Hanson was a focused academic coach, English teacher and department chair. Ms. Hanson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College and a Master’s degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, she is a graduate of the ISANNE Leads School Leadership Program.
Around campus, Ms. Hanson prides herself on being an accessible, tireless advocate for our students. She is a devout believer in the transformation that happens to our young men in 33 short weeks; her enthusiasm for our students is palpable and her passion for our mission is contagious.
Prior to joining the faculty of Bridgton Academy, Ms. Hanson worked in schools in Exeter, New Hampshire and Gray, Maine. Ms. Hanson lives on the Bridgton Academy campus with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys paddle boarding and hiking.
