In addition to our innovative core and elective offerings, Bridgton enjoys partnerships with Plymouth State University, Saint Joseph's College, and the University of Southern Maine which enables eligible students to include college courses in their academic programs. Courses are taught by Bridgton instructors on our campus.

Founded in 1808 as a four-year school, Bridgton Academy was chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, when Maine was still a part of Massachusetts. Bridgton Academy has been NEASC accredited since 1934, making it one of the oldest accredited schools in the country.
