Goals at Bridgton Academy:
To learn better study habits, and become more focused on my academic success.

Why did you choose Bridgton Academy?
I chose Bridgton Academy because I knew they could give me the opportunity to strive in numerous ways, such as my academics. Right when I stepped foot on campus for the first time in November of 2015, I immediately knew that Bridgton was the perfect place for me. I know that as long as I put in the effort to become a better me and strive academically that I will leave here saying “that was the best decision of my life.”

How is Bridgton different than your high school?
Bridgton differs from my high school in many ways, one reason is that it is a lot more structured. Also, here at Bridgton all the help you need to be a better student is consistently there, which is a very helpful tool for doing well.

How is our method and philosophy different from your high school experience?
I believe that the coaching here at BA is run a lot more structured and professional, compared to my high school. Not only are the coaches more focused on athletics, they also have your back both academically and socially - which is an awesome feeling.

What thoughts would you want to share with guys considering Bridgton Academy?
I would like to tell them that if you tend to struggle in the classroom and are trying to improve your athletic performance that Bridgton Academy is the place for you. Bridgton will give you the opportunity to learn proper study and time management skills which are a key aspect of life. Not only are the skills taught here good for academics, they also stay with you through the many rigors life may throw at you later in life. Lastly, and most importantly, as long as you strive to do better and put in the effort, Bridgton gives you the experience of feeling more confident in yourself which opens many new doors in your life.

Interesting fact(s):
I’ve always tended to love the outdoors, activities such as camping, fishing, boating, kayaking and most importantly skiing. Even though I am from Massachusetts, I’ve practically grown up here at Bridgton spending weeks at a time here on Long Lake during the summer.
