It’s All in a Day’s Work for this Wolverine

For a firefighter, their daily routine can include a variety of interesting tasks outside of fighting blazes from one day to the next. Such was the case with Wolverine alumnus Jon Hart ’13, who is a firefighter with the Bridgewater, MA Fire Department. What may have seemed like a routine call of simply being sure a woman in labor made it safely to the hospital ended up with Jon and the others on duty delivering her baby in the back of the ambulance.

This touching story was featured on the local news station. As Jon reflects on the situation, he told us, “It was truly an honor for both me and the other firefighters to be a part that family’s special day.”
