Bridgton Academy COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Bridgton Academy will require all students attending the 2021-22 school year to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Students will be required to have received both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine no later than two weeks before the student’s arrival to campus. Due dates are the following:

Football and Soccer – campus arrival date August 23; vaccination deadline for final dose August 9.

Hockey, Lacrosse, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, and Wolverine Program – campus arrival date August 28; vaccination deadline for final dose August 14.

In accordance with Maine State Law, philosophical and religious exemptions are not allowed for students entering school for the 2021-22 school year. For those who believe a medical exemption from immunizations, including COVID-19, is warranted please contact our School Nurse, Kate Tucker.

Documentation of vaccine administration can be sent to Kate Tucker, School Nurse. Additional information on submitting vaccination and other medical records through our online health information portal, SchoolDoc, will be sent out by July 1.
