Announcing Alumni Top Ten Winners for Fiscal Year 2020

We are excited to announce this year’s Alumni Top Ten for Fiscal Year 2020, which closed on June 30th.

Over the past few years, this annual giving challenge has become filled with fun (and friendly) competition among alumni classes. Whether your class ranked in the Top Ten or not, we thank all of our alumni who participated in the Bridgton Fund during the 2020 fiscal year. Your support means so much to our Academy.

So, which classes will reign supreme with bragging rights as Alumni Top Ten champs at Bridgton?

The breakdown on this year’s standings:

In the Black category, both 1965 and 1967 held on to the top two places again this year, marking several years in a row that the Class of 1965 has held number one in the Alumni Top Ten Challenge and the Class of 1967 trailing not far behind. Even with many faithful participants, both of these classes still added new donors through continued outreach with classmates. The Class of 1988 also put on a late rally to move up to fourth place this year, their highest ranking in recent years.

The Grey category had some significant changes in the standings, including the race for first. Moving from number three last year, the Class of 2018 is number one in this year’s Alumni Top Ten standings. Last year’s winner, the Class of 2017, held onto their Top Ten status at number three. With four new classes moving into the Top Ten: 200420102011, and 2012, that means the Classes of 2005, 2013, 2015, and 2019 will need to work to make it back to the Top Ten for the new fiscal year.

Whether or not your class was ranked this year, we are grateful to every one of our alumni donors who took part in this year’s challenge. Because of you, we achieve our ultimate goal of supporting the newest class of Wolverines arriving on campus this August. And, there is always Fiscal Year 2021 (which kicked off July 1st) to go for the glory!

Thank you for your support of Bridgton Academy!
